For the first time, we are seeing evidence that Johnny did indeed get two new rather large tattoos - one on the underside of each of his
forearms. We've seen them in photos where he has his shirtsleeves rolled up at the press conference at the Kustendorf Music & Film Festival. Other
Depp sites are reporting that Jonathan Shaw was a visitor at Johnny's house in November, so everyone is speculating that's when he got these, and
he's been able to hide them so far because it's been cold and he's been layered in clothing.
The visit Johnny made to the Shamrock Social Club tattoo shop where he took toys for underpriveleged children was only a two-hour visit, and these new tats are
very intricate, so Depp fans are thinking that he couldn't have gotten these that day.
Both tattoos look like they were taken from photos, and they're very intricate and very different than any of Johnny's previous tats.
This tattoo is an image from a photograph of Johnny's grandfather in his Navy uniform. He's got his arms crossed across his chest and
is leaning against a tree. Don't know if this is his maternal or paternal grandfather.
Here's a photo of his left arm during the press conference, and you can see a portion of a new tattoo on the underside:
The one on the left arm was posted as an enlarged image on Deppography where they are speculating that it looks like a woman with a handbag and
could be Johnny's grandmother. I have to admit that I can't see anything in this image:
