It's still a few months before Tim Burton's gorgeous, undoubtedly creepy re-envisioning of Alice in Wonderland premieres, and rarely have I been so excited to see makeup and costuming. To accompany the film, both Urban Decay and OPI have come out with collections that mimic the palettes used in the movie. The colors are cool, and the packaging is out of this world. So to see the Alice collections for yourself and get a little analysis of the characters' makeup, just click through.

The Urban Decay Pop-up Book of Shadows

This Book of Shadows has a gorgeous cover, an old-fashioned pop-up of Alice wandering through the forest on the inside, and eye shadows inspired by the film, with names like Alice (the gorgeous bright blue), Mad Hatter (cocoa), and Midnight Tea Party (a fun take on Midnight Cowgirl). I'm covetous already, but it's not available until the 28th.

Alice in Wonderland Palette by Urban Decay

Disney contacted the two companies Urban Decay and OPI with licensing agreements to make products featuring the movie's characters, reports today's edition of Women's Wear Daily.

The resulting $52 palette, Alice in Wonderland, take on the immensely popular Book of Shadows by Urban Decay reveals a pop up drawing of Alice. You'll get a cool 16 shadows including a bright blue one called Alice. a white one called White Rabbit (what else?), two travel-size 24/7 Eye Pencils and one 0.13-oz. Eyeshadow Primer Potion.

OPI is also launching a collection called Alice in Wonderland. According to WWD, there are four lacquers in the "Alice in Wonderland" set: Absolutely Alice, a blue glitter; Thanks So Muchness, a red shimmer; Off With Her Red, a vivid red, and Mad as a Hatter, a black multiglitter shade. Each one will retail for $8.50 at various department stores from Ulta to Dillards (not Sephora) on March 5th.
