Premiers for 'Public Enemies' to be held in Woodruff and Eagle River

The Northwoods of Wisconsin was buzzing last April when Director Michael Mann brought his Hollywood entourage to the Northwoods.
Several scenes were filmed at Little Bohemia Lodge in Manitowish Waters as well as other locations in Wisconsin. The movie, "Public Enemies," opens in movie theatres July 1.
Residents of the Northwoods are invited to join in as the glitz and glamour of Hollywood comes to the Northwoods for two days beginning with two Premiere Showings at Conway Theatres Lakeland Cinema in Woodruff July 1 and two Premiere Showings at Vilas Cinema in Eagle River July 2.
Premiere tickets will include a Northwoods Premiere Appetizer Reception at Little Bohemia Lodge in Manitowish Waters July 1 and a Post Premiere Party Celebration at Eagle Waters Resort in Eagle River July 2.
Both of these historical locations hold many stories of characters and tales of days gone by. Proceeds from the premieres will benefit the Lakeland and Vilas food pantries.
Included in the celebration will be live radio coverage by radio celebrities Mike Wolf and Amy Linnett of WRJO 94.5 FM, pre and post parties both days with era costume contests, raffles and much more planned.
WRJO will be giving away free premiere movie tickets on the radio for the next two weeks.
Extras from the shootout scene at Little Bohemia, along with extras from across Wisconsin will walk the Red Carpet escorted in vintage cars. The extras will share their experiences with Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and other actors in the movie as well as their many stories about being involved in a full blown Hollywood movie.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many to see and experience a live movie premiere.
