Until we see any further articles that actually confirm that this is true, I'm going to take this news with a huge grain of salt. The way that the article is written almost seems like a farce...it seems like the writer is putting together his "dream team" of actors who would play all of these roles. Johnny and some of the other actors mentioned are in their mid 40's....not likely actors that would be chosen to be running around in a very physical game like this portraying World Cup rugby stars. It just looks like the writer picked as many famous American and British actors as he could think of and attached their names to the various team member names as being the actors that would portray them. Can you imagine what the enormous cost would be in salaries to have all of these actors in one film?

I'm taking a wait and see attitude with this one. It just seems like a joke to me.

Additional Info Added in an Edit:

I Googled this and found articles saying that Morgan Freeman and Matt Damon are in talks to be in Clint Eastwood's film, but the articles didn't mention any of the other actors. Here's a sampling of what I found in more reputable entertainment industry news:

This article from Movies.Yahoo says that Clint Eastwood is still in talks to direct and hasn't been signed yet:
